QQI Level 5 Care of the Older Person 5N2706 minor award-- part of the QQI Level 5 Healthcare Support Certificate 5M4339 major award. This programme introduces learners to care of the older person in a variety of community/social care settings. It helps learners to relate to people with various levels of ability and cognition. The module aims to provide the learner with an appreciation of the ageing process and examine ways of improving the quality of life of the older person in their care.
